Calling for More Rain?

Either something else is wrong with my knees or there is gonna be quite the storms coming up. My knees are achy and are pulsing like a heart beat...hmm. Ever wonder why our knees hurt and we seem to know when it's going to rain? Well here's why!

Knees are one of the joints that have sensory receptors in them. Specific receptors respond to changing barometric pressure, and when there is a big storm coming, the barometric pressure is rapidly changing. This can cause some knees to feel discomfort. Due to our injuries, we have defects in our joint cartiledge causing our knees to be more sensitive. Therefore, the aching we experience is greater than a completely healthy knee. So next time your knees are in pain, check out the weather channel to see if your ACLs can predict the next storm! ☔⚡☁
